11 real estate listings in the Santa Clarita Valley had their prices changed. 8 of the Santa Clarita real estate listings were reductions from listing price to listing price. One of the real estate listings, the one on Town Center Drive, that one was increased in price and put into pending status. Some agents do this in order to advertise their “skills” in being able to get more money than a home is listed at.
During our market watch segment for Santa Clarita Valley cities, I researched 7 real estate listings that went from being for sale and active on the market to being under contract. This applies to the homes being entered under the pending or backup status. The breakdown of the listing timeframe and days on market is as follows. The property which was on the market for the longest amount of time before entering escrow had been on the market for 105 days. The property which had the shortest amount of time on the market had 6 days on the market before having an accepted contract written on it.
